Pool Service FAQs
Real answers to the questions South Florida homeowners ask before hiring a pool service company — pricing, what's included, contracts, and how we compare.
Pricing & Contracts
Transparent flat-rate pricing, no hidden fees, no long-term commitments.
Pricing starts at $125/month. The final flat-rate price varies by pool size, equipment (salt vs chlorine), whether there's a spa, and tree/debris load — quoted in writing after a free on-site evaluation. No hidden fees, no chemical surcharges, and no long-term contracts.
Most weekly pool service in South Florida runs $125–$240/month. At Florida's Best Pool Service, pricing starts at $125/month and scales with pool size, salt vs chlorine, spa, and tree load — quoted in writing after a free on-site visit.
No. All standard pool chemicals — chlorine, pH balancers, alkalinity adjusters, stabilizer, and algaecide — are included in your monthly service fee. No add-on chemical bills, no surprise charges.
No. Service is month-to-month. Cancel any time — no early-termination fees and no commitment penalties.
Both. Monthly recurring service for ongoing maintenance, plus one-time options like green-pool recovery, acid wash, new pool startup, hurricane recovery, and pre-sale inspections.
What's Included
Every weekly visit follows a documented checklist, with photos to prove it.
Surface skimming, brushing walls and tile, vacuuming the floor, emptying skimmer and pump baskets, water testing, chemical balancing, equipment inspection, and a photo-documented service report. Filter cleaning and standard chemicals are included — no add-ons.
25–45 minutes for most residential pools, depending on size and condition. We're efficient because every visit follows the same documented checklist — not because we rush.
Standard pool chemicals — chlorine (or salt cell-generated chlorine), pH balancers, alkalinity adjusters, stabilizer, and algaecide as needed. Brand-name products tested for residential pools. All included in your monthly fee.
Yes — every visit or every other visit, depending on filter type and load. Filter cleaning is included in your monthly fee. Many competitors charge separately for this; we don't.
Yes. Every visit ends with a photo-documented service report sent to your email — water test results, what was done, anything that needs attention, and before/after photos when relevant.
Service Frequency
South Florida heat and humidity make weekly the right cadence — here's why.
Weekly is the standard for South Florida. Heat, humidity, rain, and pollen knock chemistry out of balance fast. Bi-weekly almost always costs more long-term in algae cleanups, replacement chemicals, and equipment wear.
For South Florida, yes. Weekly catches chemistry shifts before they become algae blooms or stained tile. Bi-weekly works in cooler climates, but Florida's bather load, debris, and heat make it a false economy.
Trust & Logistics
Licensed, insured, family-owned with 40+ years of combined founder experience — and built around showing up.
Yes. Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license C-105377 and fully insured in the State of Florida. Proof of insurance and license available on request.
Over 40 years. Family-owned, with 10,000+ pools serviced across Boca Raton, Delray Beach, and surrounding South Florida communities.
No. Most clients give us gate codes or key-safe access. We send a photo-documented service report upon request, so you always know exactly what happened — even when you're at work or out of town.
We still come. Light rain doesn't stop chemistry checks, skimming, or equipment inspection. For severe weather, we reschedule to the next available day and never skip a billing cycle.
Service Area
Active weekly routes across Palm Beach and Broward Counties.
Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Highland Beach, Boynton Beach, Deerfield Beach, Lighthouse Point, Pompano Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and surrounding communities across Palm Beach and Broward Counties.
Yes — most of our route is gated. We pre-coordinate guard credentials, gate codes, and HOA paperwork before the first visit. We're already cleared for Boca West, Addison Reserve, St. Andrews, Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club, Woodfield, Hunters Run, Polo Club, and most other major gated communities in our area.
Repairs, Green Pools & Specialty Services
Beyond weekly maintenance — fixes, recovery, and equipment work.
A green pool means algae has overtaken your chlorine. Common causes: rain runoff, broken pump, low chlorine, or phosphate buildup from city water. Our green-to-clean treatment combines shock chlorination, brushing, filter cleaning, and chemistry rebalancing. Most pools clear in 3–7 days.
Green-pool recovery typically runs $300–$700 for a one-time treatment, depending on severity. When chlorine demand is too high to recover quickly, an acid wash ($500–$900) is sometimes more cost-effective. We start with a free on-site assessment.
Yes. We diagnose and repair pumps, heaters, salt systems, automation, plumbing leaks, and lighting. When repair isn't worth it, we recommend replacements honestly — and we'll tell you straight when something doesn't need fixing yet.
Yes. Saltwater pools need specialized care — salt cell inspection, scale prevention, salinity testing, and quarterly acid cleanings. We service salt systems from Pentair, Hayward, Jandy, and AutoPilot.
Yes — pre-purchase pool inspections cover equipment condition, visible structural inspection, chemistry baseline, leak indicators, and an honest written report. We tell you what's wrong, what's near end-of-life, and what's just normal wear.
